Once again the market gapped at the open and then reversed during the day. Today was a little more interesting since the opening gapped up and the market reversed and sat in the red almost all day, but bounced back at the very end to close in the black. The bounce was credited to a rumored plan to bailout ABK, the bond insurer, early next week, but that doesn’t seem like anything that should change your views on the economy. I guess I shouldn’t have expected anything more to closeout a dull week. I’ll just have to keep reminding myself that consolidation makes for better moves when it finally does break.
