A decent pullback with lighter volume almost makes this look like a bullish move. The auto bailout is getting close, so we’ll see how the market reacts. For the record, Ford (F) isn’t taking any money yet, but they’re just keeping the credit line open if they need it. Ford has been the most prudent of the domestic automakers over the past few years, so that should be kept in mind if they actually do bounce back and you’re looking to buy some American automaker in the distant future. Note the use of the word "distant" there, since you don’t want to bottom fish at this point.
