Hansen Natural Corp (HANS) – 04-23-2009
Hansen probably needs no introduction for anyone that’s followed stocks for a few years. If you haven’t heard of them, HANS is a typical growth stock if you look at the chart from 2004 through 2006. This is another one I’m accused of fanboyism on, but I don’t mind the name calling since I actually cashed in on it in 2005. They dropped off the radar for me a while back, but today’s action put them back in some of my screens. A solid breakout, but with only above average (not super duper) volume and no real news. I don’t really think they’ll be able to hold this breakout unless it was due to some inside information leaking. No real triggers set up here, I’ll just watch them over the next couple weeks when their earnings come out and hopefully figure out what’s up.
